Deadwood Presale
I noticed this am that Apache has on their site the Deadwood presale http://www.apachepokerchips.com/deadwoodpokerchips.html
At this point their prices are pretty reasonable, they even offer sample sets 11 chips for $13.20 shipping about Oct 11. I wouldn't think that they would sell too many they way they have it on their web site now as they only show 1 chip, the $25000
Ten or Jonny5, are you guys allowed to show what the other chips will look like?

They really need to show the other chips body colors and edge spot patterns.

And they need a copy writer to re-do the pitch on that page. The grammar is atrocious.

Price seems out of line, 1.20 per chip? That really seems reasonable to you for a group buy?

Bear in mind that TR King has increased their prices to 80¢ per chip. Taking into account their inventory and shipping costs, the markup seems to be well below conventional retail standards.
And where is there anything about $1.20 for a group buy, that $12 price is a pre-order prices for 10 qty. orders.

You mean
"The Small Crown is the oldest mold that is still producing chips"
Sounds like it was written by some eBay seller whose primary language is something other than English .
I think it was meant to be "The Small Crown mold is the oldest mold that is used to produce chips" Don't know if that's true, but jimb probably does, perhaps he could chime in and tell us if that's really true.

Yeah, that first line about the mold is the most offensive. There are other minor problems, but overall that's not the language you'd expect to find in a $1.20 per chip sales pitch.
I suppose it's better than "u got 2 get u some of theez chpz", though.

this is most certainly not a group buy. it's a retail pre-sell. and TR kings are expensive...

Add that to the fact that these chips have the potential to knock the socks off anything currently on the market and $1.20 each for 10 chips quantities is pretty much right in line.
Once I see the mockups I will decide if I will be pre-ordering just a sample set or a full-blown set.
