Why oh why does everything have to happen at once? Heh...

I was completely decided on getting a set of American Beauties this week. Then I find out that the Egyptians octagons and plaques are available again in a limited quantity. I wanted to get a set of those since I first saw them, and was disappointed when I found out those two chips weren't available anymore.

So, I was "forced" to order some octagons and plaques, and I'll have to settle for a higher price on the Beauties later on Plus I'll have to fill out the rest of the set of Egyptians later as well.

Not to mention the fact that I'd really like to get some of those WSOP "replicas" as well. I'm glad the Samurai Palace ordering hasn't started quite yet (soon though, I hope)!

On a somewhat related note, does anyone know if the COA will come with sets of 500+ ABs after this initial buy?

Of all the chips on Group buy, the WSOP chips will have tremendous resale value among non-collectors. A lot of people don't know about them and a lot of poker newbies with money watching WSOP on ESPN want the chips.

I saw 300 high value WSOP chipco replica chips go for $450 on Ebay recently.

I am so tempted to buy a set of Egyptians. I definitely would have go along with the new GB on the Egyptians if I wasn't going to take delivery on a new set of Desert Sands.

Depending on the timeframe, I'll likely get in on the Egyptians GB myself. If not, I'll just have to get the rest of the chips (another 340, I think?) I'd need later on at regular price.

BTW, HPC will be including the COA for the American Beauties chips with 500+ sets. That makes me happy, because I won't be missing out on that when I do get them
