OK, so my chips have arrived from HPC, and they are just the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life.

Maybe a little exaggeration there, but only a little.

For anyone considering ordering these things in from HPC to the UK or anywhere else in Europe, I include the costings below.

Cost of chips = $1105.66 (1000 ncvs + 2 full sample sets of ncvs 1014 chips in total)
Shipping = $110
Total paid to HPC = $1215.66

UK VAT + clearance fee = $223

So total cost was $1439 or thereabouts. That comes out at a fraction under $1.42 each all in.

So.......quite expensive really.

I was delighted by Michael's service though. I add my recommendation to the many he has received elsewhere. Just brilliant.

Now..if only I could shuffle the sticky little b**tards........

I'm in the process of buying 1050 Pharaohs, most likely from HPC also. I actually already tried to order today but paypal didn't like me. I had to get a premium account or something like that... so I have to wait for a code to show up on my bank statement so I can validate... grr

My breakdown goes like this:

If I don't change it.. it has undergone many revisions so far

we run a T1500 tournament 1-2 times a week, and I will also run a cash game probably with 0.25/0.50 blinds
