I am about to purchase my first real chip set and I am leaning towards going with ASM's. I want to put custom labels on them after I get them which will save a few bucks since ASM charges an extra $0.50 per chip for them to do it. I really like the horse-head mold which was used in the group-buy done a few months ago so that is probably my 1st choice.
I will be getting 700-800 chips and my price range is around $450 for the chips and $100 for the labels. I guess my question is - is ASM's the best way to go? Also, is the horse-head mold the best design for labels (like the ones in the group buy)? Am I missing/overlooking anything?
These maybe dumb questions but this will be a one time purchase for me and I want to get it right and not look back with any regrets. Any advice/suggestions are much appreciated.
I'd say so.
You're not going to find custom clay chips any cheaper, that's for sure. Although, I would highly recommend the new chips from BuyPokerChips.com... great inlays, great colors, and only $1.50 per chip!
