I went down to the local casino to try my luck at blackjack and ended up +$12 at the end of the evening. Rather than cash in my $12 worth of chips I got the dealer to give me 12 $1 chips. I am currently shuffling 12 Paulson TH&C real casino chips and I have found nirvana. They feel so much better than anything I have used before and at $1 CDN per chip, they are a good deal too.
Am I an astute consumer for recognizing a good deal and taking the chips or am I an evil ba$tard for taking the chips? You make the call.

"This post is useless without pics." - I seem to get this response far too much lately. I do not own a digicam (and will not be purchasing one in the near future) so pics will be rather difficult to come by. I will have to borrow a camera and take a bunch of chip pics to satisfy the lustings of this group. Perhaps on the weekend.
Description of the chips: basic white Paulson chip with the TH&C stamped 8 times around the edge and four single blue edgespots. Quite simple and rather plain but the price is right and the feel and sound are outstanding.

Good idea. It is sort of like having a non interest bearing savings account. You can always cash them in. Wish I could get my money back on my old "dice" chips.

All I can say about this is AMEN! Me to, I wish that I would have found chiptalk before I made that mistake not once but twice.

They are from the Great Canadian Casino in Victoria BC. After an hour or so of blackjack I had a few $25 green chips to play with while my buddy and I chilled out with a frosty beverage. Ohhh what a feeling. I am now a dedicated clay chip man.
This is what it looks like (only better)
