Really nice. I actually think you chose the best-looking chip from each casino. Here's a silly question: What do you do for storage? I can't imagine any sort of rack or box that would acommodate those numbers, especially with the oversized 1Ks.

Thanks! I think Aztar $25 & PCA $100 look better than PCA $25 & Aztar $100.

For travel I'd use either a 500 chip alum case full w/ other chips for cash game, or just 2 acrylic racks (filled w/other misc chips), cards, etc. in a small bag. At home everything is in racks.

Re: Small mixed casino tournament set

I like the primary $1k for the mixed set. The lighter spots work well with the other chips.

Given your PCA $100's and Aztar $100's are both primary, I'd agree. However...

Aztar $25 sec & PCA $100 sec, FTW (Paulson leaded 818 fawesomeness, right Pug?). A close second is PCA $25 sec & Aztar $100 sec, for a color explosion.

Re: Small mixed casino tournament set

Congrats, very nice combination of chips! Particularly like that you have orange/yellow elements on each chip!

However, if you asked me about the individually nicest chips of these sets, other denoms would admittedly come to my mind first (Aztar sec $1 & $100, PCA sec $5 & $100, Empress sec $100, GV sec $25 to $500), but that's perhaps just me ...

You're right that the lighter spots of the GV pri $1000 are a better match than those of the GV sec $1000. Actually, although I absolutely love the GVs as a set (at least the secondary ones), I'm not a big fan of both $1k chips, which is mainly due to their lame edgespot colors and their "dirty orange" base color - making them less impressive in person than on photos, which doesn't happen to often. How about getting some PNY sec $1000's instead?

Frak yes! We've used this combo in our tourneys many times. Nothing beats 818!
