One wonders how many chip sets have yet to be shared with the ChipTalk community. Now that BCC has closed up shop, I probably should post photos...
A big thanks to warewulf and the
Suicide King group buy members for letting me use their stamp. The stamp designed by kmalsom is a real thing of beauty.
In addition, I need to thank JHickle for loaning me his ceramic blanks, tastic for posting pics of
his stamped T-mold set, wijwij for
his oiling thread, and Damon's
thread on scraping BCC chips.
Chips were stamped by Blue Chip Co. It was very important for me to use a design on the obverse since denominations alone are boring, IMO. I hadn't seen anyone else with a set of chips using this Blue Chip cash denomination set (#22), and I'm kinda surprised since they really look great. In addition, this denomination stamp could allow the set to also function as a tournament set (since $1.
00 looks more like 100 than $1 does).
The breakdown (and colors) for my 1,000 chips:
Hot Pink: 100 x non-denom
(I wanted a chip that could serve as a $0.05, $0.10, $0.50, or $2.50 depending on the stakes)
Sherbert Green: 200 x $0.25
Charcoal: 300 x $1.00
Horizon Blue: 300 x $5.00
Canary Yellow: 80 x $20.00
White: 20 x $100.00
