3 parcels 2 days

I just received the last of my 3 parcels and i am very happy. It has been awhile since I purchased alot of these chips so havig them in hand is awesome

Parcel 1 was the cheap paulson casino dealers school chips




I get these late last night and started sorting and cleaning, there are some nice chips in there with some damaged and defaced. i am thinking about labelling them but i will wait until I clean them all and make a decision then

Today 2 parcels arrived


I opened one at random and it hppened to be the very nice Dunes chips



Sticks and stones may brake my bones but sticks of chips excite me

Then I opened the other one which was a big assortment of stuff Empty Pockets helped me with





So a big thank you to EP for his great help and also to Lenick72 for the great buy of the paulsons.

I am now cleaning the AP chips, they are very nice

Well first there was the Dunes casino and golf course which had some pretty sweet looking chips. They can generally be distinguished by their shaped inlays, actual clay composition, and huge price tags. Then there was an injection molded replica version, which you can buy at the chip room. Injection molded means it is basically made out of plastic. Now there is a compression molded "China clay" version which is a similar price to the plastic version but should feel a lot more like actual casino clay. The picture you posted is the most recent compression molded version.

So the replicas can be divided into: injection molded & compression molded.

Is it correct that the injection molded have an illusion of shaped inlays on the denoms $5 and above and have the same type of edgespost on all the chips?
And the compression molded have all round inlays and different type of edgespots (like the ones in the picture I quoted) ?

If this is correct, where can I get those compression molded chips? 'Cause all I can find is the ones with shaped inlays and same edgespots.

another parcel arrived today, i opened it and I couldnt remember ordering a box of foam?


But then, from the mighty depths of the foam ocean arose the behomoth of the foam sea



Standing tall as the foam dripped from its proud.......surface even Bubba Ho-Tep was impressed



and it finally opened it large lid and all my little babies (what my GF calls my chips) ran inside
