My ASM mixed clay cash set

I put this set together and I was going to sell it and get customs instead, but now I have decided to keep it and just try to add on to it.

When I first decided I wanted to build a cash set I was going to do a mixed set of paulsons, but since that's what most people do I decided to be different and build a mixed set of ASM.

breakdown

100 non denom - I couldn't find any ASM quaters , so I got some orange solids from gpc and sent them to SOK to get hotstamped with the desert inn logo. I actually love these chips they look great plus I can use them as whatever denom I want.

200 river bend casino $1 - These were the dirtiest chips I have ever seen. I have gotten them mostly clean, although I need to get some diamond cleaner to finish the job.

20 emerald princess $5 - I really like these chips, I like having a non traditional $5.

12 club cleopatra $25 - Nice chips, brand new and the edge spots go well with the $5, but my game is low stakes (.25/.50) and the $25 never hits the table.

I want to get about 30 more $5, and find a $10 chip which I know will be hard. I might have to have some chips hotstamped to fill that role.

let me know what you think.

Re: My ASM mixed clay cash set

Nice job.

You could use the Cleos for quarters the $ is pretty small.

There's a Key West quarter Grey 312 Black.

I love the hotstamps, but I don't think they go well with this set. I saw your auction on ebay and was tempted.

Just my opinion.

I don't want to have $ sign on my quater it just isn't right, and the key west isn't HH mold. (i want the whole setto have the same mold).

I'm not bothered so much by the hotstamps. there is orange in the emerald princess edgespots so I feel it goes just fine. I would prefer an inlay with 25 cent on it but I am ok until i find that solution.

Kardwell has a $10 HH Pre-Denominated Casino Pro Poker Chips: The Same Poker Chips Used in Leading U.S. Casinos

Not sure if you will like 312 spots between the $5 and $25. I am not crazy about the inlay but it is faily inoffensive.

I am not a fan of hotstamps. But I really like your DI hot stamp. It is classy looking and the DI was one of my favorite spots on the strip. Understated and classy. Not too many things around anymore that fit that bill.
