Re: my new travel set

The colors are insane and look way better in person than in the pic.

Yeah, a LOT of my BCC's had this issue, especially the first batch. I also noticed this after looking very carefully at my High Roller sample set. Might be a deal breaker....

Re: my new travel set

a bit. maybe those stains will vanish after they got into play.
Also they need a ton of oil and the edges are almost too sharp. Feels like you cut a piece of paper with them.

Re: my new travel set

I had to return a few of the protege's with rust stains on them. Maybe a small group of about 10 from a box of 100. They were all next to each other in the box. I was thinking maybe they got stained after manufacturing but before packaging??? just a thought.

Nice T-Molds, but I can't stop staring at the Double Downs behind them! (More pr0n of the DD's please!!!)

BTW, are the T-Molds the heavy weight BCC's or the light?

t-molds are a little bit havier then normal weight BCC and a little bit lighter then the havier weighted BCC.

For clarification, they're the heavier weight BCC material: 9 - 9.5 g.

Maybe max means that they're 39 mm in diameter, while Proteges and Samurais are 39.5 mm in diameter; thus, the T-mold solids are a little lighter that Samurais/Proteges (9.5 - 10 g) due to their smaller size. Note that the TMSC's are heavy weight AND 39.5 mm, so they'll be 9.5 - 10 g.
