I have since added to the set, but need to do some cleaning and will post more photos. The set is now over 2100 chips. I now have plenty of $5's and a rack of PNY $25's for added measure that can be used, if necessary.

just curious about the volumne of the lower value chips, do you rake hands that you need so many? a stack of 20 quarters/dollars per player is all i ever needed in a cash came of 25/50 or 1/2

I just like them, and want flexibility in a set. What's wrong with getting lots of chips?
this makes me want to buy some of these chips. We play a .25/.50 game too. nice set man!!!

I would defniitely recommend it! After, viewing this thread, i too, was insipired to build a MGM Detroit cash set. Lo and behold i have a much smaller one, but with sufficient quarters and a few $5s! I am not sure whether to add more $5s or to add 5 $1s for every $5 that i would have bought.
