Here's why, actually. First, they are my favorites of the 4 quantities and they offer some color and an additional chip denomination into the smaller games, which help keep some of the quarters active.
The Second reason is that I can still use them in a $1/$2 NL game, using 2 as the $5 quantity. It was hard spending the $5 per chip for the fives, so having so many was a good alternative, until I decided to finally pull the trigger.
Third, because I could. Seriously, I really just like the looks of them. I have my birdcage sitting on my credenza in my home office, and have the two racks of snappers on top of three racks of quarters, facing me, and they just look cool together.
I haven't introduced the set into play yet, but am itching to. I finally also decided to order some of the Zion Plaques as a good way to do rebuys and can't wait for those now. I may add some more chips to the set, but have set a max of 2100 chips for the set (2 birdcages full with each rack holding 105). This means I may add another 105 $5's and some more $1's, but we'll see.
