My Poker Chip Collection

I had nothing better to do for the last hour or so, so I thought it's about time I take some pictures of most of my poker chips (yes this means our camera was replaced ). I didn't get around to taking pictures of all of them, as I am awaiting the finishing touches on some sets. I know it's not necessarily the greatest collection in the world, but I can honestly say that I love all of these chips. Let's get started.

That's a sweet collection of sample sets, thanks for sharing!!! Love the Palmas (I have the 9 chip sample set), especially the Black/Pink $100. The Binions are also nice. I saw a sample of the ASM Cleopatra's on ebay a while back saying that they were real casino chips for a casino that never opened. Do you know if that's true? Thanks again for the pr0n!

Thanks I'm constantly keeping my eyes open for the three other $5s out there (secondary, grand opening, and millennium commemorative). I'm sure I'm not alone!! It's so hard to pick a favorite set out of these!!!

I am pretty sure you are right. I can't remember if it was the Cleopatras or the Palmas that were from a casino that ran into licensing problems and never opened. Heck, it could be true for both for all I know. Anyone know for sure? (paging noelsarchs )

Took me months to find all 3 of those and the Millennium cost me a pretty penny.......

You said "not the greatest collection in the world"... I say take pride, cause your collection is beyond sweet. It reminds me of so many missed opportunities during the past few years with the variety of samples you have. I say nice work and I am jealous!
