I should have named this thread,"Why Michael Patton / HPC is making me poor!" This is my third chip set order and the sixth overall order from MSPatton at HPC and each one has been great! For $.89 per chip, these Mardi Gras Clays are the best value on the market, hands down. I am going to buy 50 more blacks on Monday to go with my 550. I hope I can buy some Red Martini Clays soon. I got these chips Wednesday, oiled them, and played my first game with them last night! The Black $100 is my favorite.
They were sooooo new and had the clay dustiness; they just ached for oil! I took some photos of the chips with and without oil. No need to tell you which is which...
How could anyone not love these?

I was wondering why the $5 Martini club myself....The $5 Mardi Gras chip is my favorite mardi gras chip....if you received those in error...I'd get the Mardi Gras chips swapped for them.. I had a set of Martini clubs once....beauties.

While the mold is the same and inlay is a nice match, I don't like the yellow edgespot because of the conflict with the $25.
I am also curious about why you have $5 Martini Clubs instead of the Mardi Gras Clay $5, as the MGC $5 is also my favorite in that set.

A good portion is from our "friend" Michael -- he is great for sure. I'm just about ready to order a couple thousand T-molds for hotstamping! It never ends....
Wow there really isn't any comparison with oiled BCCs compared to non oiled. Oiled is so much better, but does the oil cause more slickness and make the chips worse in terms of stacking and moving stacks in and out of pots?

I had a twenty person tourney and 17 of 20 (myslef included) preferred the Martini Red. The tan edge spot was the deal breaker for most. I love the Blood red Martini and the edge spots. Its also cool to see if anyone notices the different inlay. they didn't yesterday night...

A lot of chips have the same color edge spot as a consecutive chip. The samurai palace $5 and $25 both use a Burgundy edge spot. Before I chose Martini Club red, I had MSPatton send me a pic of Mardi Gras and Martini stacks next to the green and white chips. If you look at my first few pics, notice that even with the same yellow, there is NO confusing the chips. Plus, the Martini clubs were on sale from Michael for only .70, so I took em all! The savings paid for my Dal Negros, my first plastic cards! Which, by the way, received a TON of compliments. Thanks Michael! Go ahead and box up 50 more of the $100 chips!
