Pron, Pron, Pron, Pron (of the Samurai type)

So I sold off my PCR's to get some samurais...I had a set of T-mold blanks and decided I loved them so much I needed to get samurais. Since HPC is out of $5's I've only purchased 300 chips so far, 200 $1 and 100 25¢. I'm going to get 100 $5's and 20 NCV...then maybe add on another 100 by adding another 20 NCV, 20 25¢, 60 $5.

They are very chalky, just like the T-molds, can't wait until they are broken in like my T's. No oil for th4ese babies, they look cool as is. No major inlay issues, if you get super anal, some inlays are printed a bit off center, but you have to look for it. Inlays are very round, nothing like my Martini Clubs. These are beautiful chips, they look like real casino chips.

Nice pics!

I've been looking into this set as well, but I'd need a 10¢ chip, so I've been thinking about higher denoms as a tourney set.

The 25¢ chip is still my favorite! I was expecting the $1s to be a little bit darker for some reason though..

I think the blues will darken with use, they've got a dust on them...fresh chips...mmmmm. If I oiled them they'd be darker. I'm determined not to oil these though.

That $1 is one of the nicest looking chips ever. Sooner or later I am going to break down and buy a cash game set of these too. It is such a great mold. Who doesn't need at least 3 cash sets?

Enjoy them Evil.

Re: Pron, Pron, Pron, Pron (of the Samurai type)

One thing, I saw in another thread that the 25¢ wouldn't fit 20 into a chipco rack...mine do, they all fit very nicely.

Re: Pron, Pron, Pron, Pron (of the Samurai type)

I forgot to mention the close ups of the inlays are representative of the worst of the inlays...not too bad. Aslo I put the T-mold blank to show that the samurai is slightly larger diameter, you can see the edge of the Samurai sticking out on the edge.
