Re: The difference Oil makes.

Paulsons need no oil, but BC's require it... I just got my T-molds, but don't want to oil them until I get them hotstamped...oh the urge...

I did hit just the edges to take pics.

Re: The difference Oil makes.

Dont you have to oil paulsons if you clean them? (Normally with used Casino chips to get all the gunk off)

If you wash / clean any clay chip they'll need a little love oil to show their greatness afterwards.

Rotin - very nice looking BC JBs! good grease job

99% - those plum tmolds look awesome! I saw them yesterday and thought they were a little muted in color... now, wow is all i can say!

HQ - I cant look at those Aruba's - it'll make my wallet sad

great before and after pix guys!

Lemme see if I can dig some up.

Re: The difference Oil makes.

Its there a easy way to do the oiling or is it wipe some on, let it sit a little and then wipe off any excess?

The easiest way... well thats up for a debate.

The elbow grease method is the one I use...
take a stack of 10-20 chips. add mineral oil to a cloth & wipe the edges of the chips down. then take each chip individually and rub the faces of the chip down. wipe off any excess. then place the chips on a cloth or paper towel and let them sit for a day or so.

Great pix of T-mold chips; my favorite Non Paulson chip. Those have the right wt and seem to me to be softer than most BCC chips and look great oiled. Is HPC doing your hotstamping?

Re: The difference Oil makes.

I always love the before and after pics of chips that have needed either some cleaning or oiling. The difference in the JBs is unbelievable! The colour combos on the lower denoms are outstanding (love the $1 chip) and some oil and a bit of work just makes the set pop. Great pics too.

Those were some thirsty Paulsons. The $100s look like a completely different chip.
