Honestly, If I was spending scratch that you have been dropping, I would consider a really cool cash set of chips from an existing casino.

Do some research, and pick a chip you really love, then buy a bunch of 1's, 2.50's, 5's and 10's. This is my plan with the Borgata's. I am starting with the 1's, but at some point I will pick up a few racks of 5's and a rack of 10's. Because they are Bud Jones, they will last forever, and they will be secure (atleast until they change chips).

I actually thought about that EXACT idea...my only concern is, how do I get out of there with a rack of 1s, 2.50s, 5s, 10s, and 25s? 500 chips? is it possible?

If you are staying at the casino, it shouldn't be a problem if you are not too obvious about it, and don't try and grab them all at once. Go to the cage, get a rack, sit down at a table for a few hands, go to the room. Repeat.
