My new Faux's and a custom case

I recently purchased 2000 Faux Clay's for a fund-raising tourney that my bro-in-law is hosting - I bought 1500 to keep and he bought 500 to add on for the tourney. I then modified a breif case to hold all of my 1500 Faux's.

Here are the pics:
These are all 2000

200 white
300 blue
600 red
600 green
200 black
100 purple

This is the brief case that i attained for free from helping in a family member's garage sale

this is the case after i gutted it.

I also attained some roller shipping containers from my place of work - they just happened to be exactly 40.5mm in width inside the container. the chips were a little tight, so i used the laser cutter at my place of work to cut side channels in the tubes. and i also cut in the four suits just for fun.

the suits

I had to cut the tubes down to only hold 90 chips so that i could maximize the space inside the case.

here is all 17 tubes and 1530 of my Faux's.

I know it's not the nicest case, but for free, plus a little work, it's not bad.

And i love the Faux's - Nicest cheap chip money can buy

My crystal ball shows me you'll be getting requests for those roller containers in no time.

Re: My new Faux's and a custom case

thanks for the kind words. it was actually quite a bit of work to get the tubes right. i had to shorten them, laser cut the sides, drill a hole in the bottom to help get the last chips out, and then cut and shape the cap from another peice of the roller container.

i don't think it would be worth all of the time i put in to make some for others - at least turn-around time would be horrendous.

here is a link to an ebay auction selling something similar to what i started with on the tubes. (not my auction)

Nice job. Those tubes are pretty ingenious. I like your set up.

The setup is totally MacGyver! Very cool.

What is the final weight of the fully loaded case?

it's about 35lbs.
it's a chunk to carry, but mostly it's so i can have all my fauxs in one case.
