| | | Nevada Jacks "The Lodge" chips are great!
Is anyone else very impressed with the Nevada Jacks "Lodge" chips? I got a 1000 piece tourny set (500 from *acesandfaces* and 500 from the NJ website) and am loving these chips! Others have posted that the colors are not as vivid as shown on the NJ website, which is true enough, but I think it makes the chips look nicer. Especially the $25 and $100 value chips, which are my favorite of the set. The sound is a higher pitch than Chipco, BJ, and Paulson but this is not a bad thing, in fact I like it. Also the price can not be beat. $179 for a set of 500 shipped!
I have owned and traded NJ Skulls, and American Beauties, because I wasn't very impressed with the chips. Each set had a few spinners and the chips I felt were nothing to get overly excited about. But these chips stack very well (not a spinner among them) and I am loving the colors. The artwork is subtle and classic, the handling and stacking is great and they were cheap!
If I had to dog on the chips, the only thing I would say is that I wish the edgespots were aligned, because when stacked you can see a tiny bit of the face edgespot which makes it look like your chips may have nicks along the edge. Other than that these chips rock.
Anyone else agree or feel differently?

The funny thing about those chips...they did'nt take shipment of the chips from NJ, but they are using Desert Sands chips for their tournies. I just had a guy come into my office that played there last week, he said the chips said "Sands" Las Vegas or something. I showed him a pic of the Desert Sands and confirmed it was them. Strange. They still got chips from NJ...

Any word on what the buy in on those daily tournaments is? I hope not too high as they have some serious security issues playing with the Desert Sands chips.
