Here's the story of my Harrah's score:
I realized the cage directly across from the poker room on level two was where they stored a lot of chips. The first day I asked to purchase some new 50c chips, expecting to hear that I could buy 2 or 4.
"Ma'am, I'd like to buy some 50c chips."
"OK, how many do you want?"
"Well, that depends. Do you have any new ones?"
"I think we may have gotten some in."
She takes three steps to the cabinet and looks inside, I could see a few racks that looked sweet.
"You're in luck, we do have some new ones. How many do you want?"
"Actually I'd like 100." (Expcting her to say YEAH RIGHT.)
She rubbernecks and says
"Whatever are you going to do with that many 50c chips?"
"I collect them."
"Oh... OK"
Then the manager walks in. I'm busted for sure. He asks what's going on, she tells him, he says OK and walks out!
"Here you go, $100 worth." as she sets two UNCIRC racks in front of me. (I asked for 100 chips, she thought I meant $100 worth, I didn't correct her.

)
I pay $100 and stroll out of the casino to the hotel room with the chips in new Paul-son racks.
Now, being the good budding chipper, I tried this again about 20 more times at four different cages, and usually got the HELL NO look for the manager, but three other times I scored, for 200, 40, and 160. 600 total.
The best time was 3:30 - 4:30 AM when there was nothing else going on.
So like I said, I asked nicely.
