Habit? I thought it was just a little hobby. Or a mild habit. Or an obsession. Or addiction.

Either way, I came to the right place!

Re: My first set of good chips

That's a great looking set - welcome to the site. And, you posted correctly in saying it was your 'first' set of nice chips. It won't be the last my friend.....

I only wish I would have had a set like that when I was 16........

Re: My first set of good chips

Now, I wonder if I'd be able to make any kind of profit off my 650 dice chips...they're taking up valuable space in my cases.

Re: My first set of good chips

Yes, they're textured, but technically, they're not aligned. Only a few are noticably out of alignment, but none of the chips are as out of alignment as these (picture from the MrChip site). Only a few chips are dead on.

The majority of the chips are a millimeter or two out of alignment, so that they still look aligned from a few feet away. I'll try to get a picture up in a bit that shows the most un-aligned chips compared to the majority. I was quite impressed with how aligned most of them were.

The "aligned" version of the chips must be spot-on, considering how good the non-aligned chips are!

Re: My first set of good chips

Very cool set. The denom progression has me scratching my head though. Your set includes the 1000, 5000, and 100,000 chips but you seem to have no 25,000 chips. I would pick up some of those first before focusing on my next set. It is only a matter of time before you start looking at some compression molded clays for your collection.

Re: My first set of good chips

The "aligned" chips are dead on!!! (I bought them). Mine were textured as well. I bought the 1,000/5,000(orange)/10,000 chips. Love them, although they're a wee-bit slick. Now I'm looking at the hot stamped Paulsons. It never ends.....
