If there was any damage to the chips I would for sure, If not I might just not leave Positive Feedback or avoid dealing with them again. I would never package chips like that in the risk that some broke or chipped in the shipping process.
For $25 shipping...I might tell the guy he's a knob. You did get a decent price, but if he's really selling more of his collection, he needs a packing lesson.
The other part of this is that he claimed the chips were "in great condition" in the auction. Well I've learned the hard way since joining CT that these chips are in poor condition at best.
The edges are dinged up badly but that could be from the abuse at the tables OR from the poor shipping.
The best part, if you notice the plastic bags, they look like they're 25 years old. they crumbled when I picked them up. I have no idea how he packed these and didn't notice this.....
I'll take them off your hands for the price you paid for them.
I dont think the issue here is what he paid for these... The seller charged $25.00 for shipping. You would think that the seller would have taken sometime to pack these decent. Wraped them up with peanuts or something like that... Not 30yr old ziploc baggies. Crazyness.

That's my main complaint.
2 is the auction is crap with "in great condition"
He needs 3 things-
1- a packing lesson
2- a lesson about the condition of chips
3- never allowed to sell anything to anyone ever again. especially poker chips.
He has a total of 5 feedback threads from buyers... one of them read like this...
My $425 check CLEARED 08-09, he went out of town, excuses, refunded $ on 08-23 Follow-up by imattbids: AFTER 4 emails,10 DAYS, tells me edge spots were DRAWN with MARKER! for $425!?!
that was in august of 04 btw raiderjoe bought some chips from him in 05 and gave positive feedback.. so who knows on this one????? Seems he prob just didnt care on how he shipped em!
