Chips: 2,190 | | | Faux Clay PICS - 56K will not survive!! First off to all the admins, I started this thread here because they're not pics of custom chips, just faux clays.
I wanted to start a thread for everyone to post their faux clay pics, in one place, with lots of pics. Faux clays. Pics. One place. So good. I know there have been a few requests to see faux clay pics and although there are a few semi-started threads like this floatin around, I figured why not start up a strong one since everyone is seemingly into fauxs right now. Here's (most) of mine. Also, I apologize for the nasty pics, I have an old digi camera and no lights. I suck An overshot of 1000 fauxs Another overshot of 1000 fauxs Starting stacks of T5000 Here's a pot brewin...p And we see a flop... And here's the finish. Funny thing is I just dealt out the hand straight up and this was the finishing board. Double up after the first hand. Sweet. Here's the USPC colors with the faux clay red and gray Did somebody say stack? You HAVE to love the way these fauxs stack, just brilliant Also, I took 2 comparison shots of the orange/gray and the red/gray for the confusion of which looks closer to the USPC chip setup. Orange first, then red.
I didn't take any shots of my whites, but they're pretty umm......white. I love these damn chips and no one will ever convince me that they don't rule for .045 a chip. Get your pics going, and GO FCN!!

Well if you're deciding between these and labeled nexgens then you might as well go labeled faux clays. Once we get some pics up of those labeled fauxs around here (cough cough capt_all_in), your decision will be made for you. When these get labelled up they're unbelievably angelic.

- My Yellows have finally arrived. You know, I didn't think that these chips would feel, sound and stack like everyone said they would. All I have to say is DAMN.
Even though the Yellow chips are the ugliest things in the world, I still love them.
Yes the picture quality is crap as my daughter killed my digital camera and left me with this cell camera

Chips: 2,190 | | | Re: Faux Clay PICS - 56K will not survive!! Actually most of them haven't been broken in enough!! There are a lot of sharp edges and powdery chips still because I haven't had them for too long, and they really haven't seen any action. I don't ever bring them to any of the home games I play at because they all use their own chips. But I do have a few stacks that I've shuffled quite profusely and after a little bit of time the edges have softened a tad and the chips colors are more uniform because of oil from the hands. I can say that there's a difference (for the better) when they get broken in, but unfortunately mine haven't had a chance yet. The best example of before and after in my pics is the side by side of orange and red. The oranges in the left picture have been broken in while the reds are straight out of the box I got from DCG on Tuesday. There's a definite visual difference in the two.
