Metal Birdcage from eBay

Check out the metal birdcage I've purchased from eBay. (couldn't wait for the Pharoahs sarcophagus from Drake)

Thanks to daveyboy for recommending income5 (so far), and mentioning the metal bird cage in the Pharoah's thread.

Once I get it in my hands, I'll whip up a review of it for Chiptalk.

Wow, I have never seen one of those before. I can't wait to see how you like it and hear how it is. How soon do you think you will be receive it?

Those are neat and different, but they look a little too much like ... ermmm ... a birdcage, IMO.

Due to the fact the I'm in Canada and it has to be shipped USPS, I figure 1-2 weeks before I receive it.

An update:

On Friday, I wanted to determine if my birdcage was in transit yet, so I log on to eBay to send the seller a message. To my shock, "income5" is no longer a registered member of eBay!!! I'm thinking, "Great! There goes 100 bucks!".

To his credit, he DID reply to my PM that I sent (outside eBay), and said that I should be receiving it in the next week. (The check's in the mail, anyone?)

Needless to say, I will be moderately surprised if I get it this week - if at all.

I hope you still do get it. Not only would I feel bad if you were ripped off, I am also eager to find out how you like it.

I do hope it all works out for you, I would wonder why he switched his name aswell though.

Maybe he had a partner with the old one and they split up.....

This seems to be a common thing amongst eBay sellers.

They get one negative comment and start a whole new identity to keep it at 100%.

For the record, this guy you mention is in my neighborhood (San Diego) and I have written him several times about his $75 "pick-up fee" on local purchases. He did say that this was a "once per purchase" and not "per item" charge.

I hope he is not scamming you, but I have had good communications with him over the last few weeks.
