Chips: 1,828 | | I asked the new guy if he was the same as income5, this was his response: "same company but different salesman also income5 will be back after 20 days so please leave feedback then, Thanks."
It seems like many of these poker supply sellers in the SoCal area are using one of two warehousing outlets. It seems like this warehousing outlet hires multilple sales people to run the ebay business and they pay them accordingly. So, just as if a salesman for Verizon were to go on vacation or quit, the company will still have other salesman or ebay sellers to run the business.
Sounds easy enough, but that still does not explain the message the income5 will be back in 20 days when his ebay account shows him as a unregistered user.
Update: Looks like directly2 is still active, but not much sales recently.

Chips: 14,010 | | | Sometimes these guys get suspended for listing violations, keyword spamming, illegal links in their auctions or about me pages, etc. I was working with one who had this happen, he disappeared from ebay after I ordered something showing as unregistered user. I emailed him and he told me he'd pissed them off and they suspended him till he cleared it up.

Chips: 2,938 | | I hate to tell you this but I often search eBay for "poker table" and then sort the list by the nearest seller, to possibly avoid shipping charges by picking them up. I live in San Diego, so the market is pretty active at times.
I just did this search and don't see any of their usual poker table auctions available right now. They were always in the <10 miles section of the listings.
I don't know what that means, but I could always see a couple of decent tables available from them and if I went to their store, I could see the other stuff like the bird cage chip rack you bought.
I hope this turns out well, but if you used PayPal at least they have some sort of money back guarantee on eBay transactions. (Gawd knows what you have to go through to get your money back though...) |

Chips: 1,828 | | | The new name "directly2" has a bunch of tables available with the same listing style. Maybe the seller entered their home zip on Ebay which may be away from SD. "directly2" has already confirmed that they are the same company as "income5" but they are different sales people. It's possible that some of these sellers may be able pick up the product from the warehouse and have buyers pick them up from their home if it is requested.
Let just hope that "income5" is on a little vacation to China to pick up more chips and will return to begin selling under a different name with a stellar feedback rating. Lets also hope that before he went to China that he sent out the birdcage case to our friend in Canada. |

I will e-mail them tomorrow to ask them about their pick-up fees and see if they respond the same way the old seller did.
I just hope that the listed "United States" shipping detail in the auction doesn't mean that they think they can just keep your money and move on. |

I'm still within my 2 week expected window for delivery, but I get more anxious by the day.
And who sends stuff like this without a damn tracking number?!!! |

Chips: 1,828 | | Pager23,
I know its been only a week, but any word on your case? Hopefully you can still keep the faith despite this bad news: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...em=-1&frm=1883
This was the other seller within the same company. |

Chips: 12 | | | Actually, I do have an update. After waiting 2 weeks after "said" delivery date, and getting no responses to our emails, we filed a complaint through Paypal. Within a few hours, we received proof that the item was shipped and actually received a tracking number!! Now, it's USPS, so the tracking number is pretty much useless (says the item left L.A. on the 15th), but at least we know it was sent. Now its just a matter of figuring out if it's lost or not.
Also, it may now be in Canada Post's hands, so God knows where it might be.
...and yah, that's brutal about the "directly2" guy. One transaction, and no longer a member. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
