Chips: 14,462 | | | That sounds exactly like the ones I just got from 5star. They hold 26 paulsons and are semi-flexible as well with a diamond on the top.

Chips: 13,014 | | They haven't arrived yet, trying to track the package as I write this.

Chips: 13,014 | | | They just arrived and they are beautiful. Much bettter then my old cheapo chip boxes in every respect. The plastic is clearer, the chips fit perfectly (at least as perfectly as perfect can be considering the fact different denominations are slightly thicker or thinner than others, but the overall fit is great), and the boxes themselves are very sturdy. The lids to my old boxes were concave and dipped down into the box in the middle, causing them to fit poorly and rub up against the middle rows of chips, these new Chipco boxes do not have this problem at all.
So far, after just about five minutes, I can say I am completely satisfied.
I will post pictures to show the difference in fit between the new and old boxes later this evening or tomorrow morning. I would do it now, but my weekly game starts in about fifty minutes so I have to get going.
One last note, I ordered these new boxes directly from Chipco at $3.00 each. Total for seven boxes shipped to California was just about $27.00. Well worth every penny.

Not loosely enough to damage anything (at least not yet) but loose enough to annoy me. I am going to purchase one of the CHIPCO boxes to see if it is any better and, if so, I will be trading them all out. With the amount of money I have invested in my chips, I want a storage box that fits them well. Plus, I am just anal-retentive and if I don’t find something better my OCD will get the best of me and I will never be satisfied. |
Thanks for posting this!!!!! It is exactly what I was lookin for!! So cheap I get to keep my trays!!!! WOO HOO!!
Remember I got cheap chips...so I might as well get cheap boxes!!!

Chips: 1,722 | | | Hey, good idea. I'll have to pick up a few next time I place an order with 5stardeal. Maybe even multitask them as high denom rebuys for my generic set. |

Chips: 684 | | | I just received a supply of Air-Tite chip holders, the ones with the black foam border. As it turns out, the foam that comes with the holder is actually a larger disc (approximately 45mm in diameter) of foam with a 39mm disc die cut out of the center.
When you use one of the Air-Tites to store a chip, you're left with a circular foam disc that's exactly the size of a poker chip. I'm planning to use these to fill any gaps in my racks/boxes. |

Chips: 1,818 | | | Has anyone tried the ones from discountcasinogear? They have 3 with covers. plastic @ 1.95, acrylic @ 1.95, & platic(?) for .95.
Is there a big difference between the plastic and acrylic? Someone said earlier that the acrylic ones are more brittle - i would think that would be a good thing.
I just want them for people moving chips between tables - not for actual storage.
