Have any of you experienced this? | Absolutely. Like I said, my dad has these. It's sometimes tough to get even the last 2 or 3 chips out. It's easier if you have nails or if you tilt the carousel, but they aren't easy to just slide up from the bottom. |

Chips: 1,728 | | There's a guy on the East Coast that's selling 12G plastic chips with a metal center for $2-$4 each. And he'll probably get that much for them too! And plastic chips with metal inserts that are attracted to a magnet are being used in casinos aren't they? Quote: |

I'll be able to pick out the chips I want and still store at least 200. |

Chips: 245 | | | I have these (I bought them on a whim from a craiglister for, coincidentially enough, $10). As others have already mentioned, it's not anything magnificent and the size/weight is atypical, but they're better than dice. And indeed the carousel is handsome and heavy, albeit the chips are a PITA to dig out. So Form 1, Function nil.
I wouldnt sulk if I had to use these some evening while waiting for my horseheads, or needed to supplement my chipco unicorns.
The Graves don't make me unhappy. Dice chips, they make me unhappy. |
