Chips: 18,645 | | | My Chipcos fit perfectly in my Paulson racks, so I would say they are the same. Of course, the Paulsons fit perfectly, too. Also ASMs work well and Blue Chip Martini Clubs and Mardi Gras clays. But some of the Nevada Jack clays are tight, and some of the cheap import chips won't quite fit that 20th chip. |

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
BS | Asked and answered. Yes.
To expand a little now that I'm home, the ASMs seem to fit a little better that the Paulsons. Both the scandias and the PJB/Trademarks have a tiny amount of play. Nowhere near enough for an extra chip, and not enough to be annoying either, IMO. |

Chips: 129 | | | if you are near a casino, they use paulson racks, and you can swipe a few here and there |

Chips: 170 | | | Yes, getting racks from a casino is a good option. And I wouldn't call it swiping. I would buy a rack of chips and walk out in full sight of the security guard. Can't call it swiping when I do it in full view of them. |

Chips: 1,728 | | If they've just made $40 or so on a rack of used $1 chips that you just bought and are taking home, I think they'll overlook the used $1.50 rack that you're also taking . Quote: |

Chips: 1,728 | | Sometimes I think looking at some of these forums is narrowing my focus and causing me to put blinders on .
I swear it never occurred to me to check until a moment of common sense struck me a moment ago. But has anyone checked with Chipco? It dawned on me to check their web site and they do indeed seem to sell their racks (in addition to using them to ship their Pro Tech and Unicorn chips.) And if anyone is wondering why some of their web pages seem to appear 3 times, I don't know, I just thought I had the wrong thing to drink for lunch . Quote: |

Chips: 1,728 | | Sensing that you're not a foolish kid ... Does the term penny-wise and pound foolish ring a bell? I happen to know that the price of gasoline in Vancouver is around or a tad more than it is here in California. It takes me two gallons of gasoline for a round trip to the nearest cardroom that uses Paulson chips and quite honestly I'm not sure I'd be guaranteed in getting a Paulson rack from them, or a gallon and a half to another cardroom that uses Bud Jones chips (big city and a gas guzzler truck). I'm not sure I see the logic here even if they were handing me the chip rack as I drove into the parking lot.
If Chipco racks work and they're a phone call away (I don't care if it's toll free or not), I think that would probably be the route to go. I mean, how much could they charge for chip racks? Surely not 1.5 to 2 gallons of gas worth Quote: |

Chips: 170 | | Not if you and buddies play a lot at the poker room. If you are there already, doesn't cost any extra in gas. Gas here average $.90/litre, about US $2.80/gal. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
