Chips: 896 | | Hey Deckard. Those JB's look great in that case. You need racks w/ covers to use a suitcase style case like that. So far the only thing I've found that would work for what I want is a toolbox from Target
And yep, those are the Lucky 7's. That setup works great for 10-20 people.
And Ten, the good chips get carried around by horsedrawn carriage |

Chips: 1,861 | | | I'm probably going to end up with some sort of suitcase type carrier for my tourney set, it'll be 1200+ chips when complete (NJ DS). I'm going to have to work something out so that I can use regular 5x20 uncovered racks, I just love the damn things... can't count by 25, I suppose. I'm thinking foam, foam and more foam to hold them in place. I would prefer something that didn't sit sideways like a suitcase so that when the tournament is running I can just pick it up by the handle to grab another rack of rebuys or the color up chips or whatever.

Chips: 7,275 | | I have seen pics of guys on the 2+2 forums using those big camera cases since they are already fully padded and pretty secure. I just need to do the measuring and find out what size will fit all my chips and cards.

From this eBay Auction
then I'm pretty sure it is almost identical in construction to my "tool" case. Everything looks exactly the same (dimensions, hardware, materials) except for the color (but they had silver ones at Home Depot, too). The bonus about getting this "camera" case on eBay is the foam in the top (you won't need the bottom foam). As you can see from my pictures, you will have no problem getting up to 15 chip boxes and two sets of cards in the case. The problem will be the weight of your stuff vs. the semi-cheesy construction. But if you have 1,000 chips or less, then I would say it should be ok. Just don't drop the thing! |

Chips: 2 | | | I have also seen those types of cases in the hardware section at Wal-mart. They had 3 different sizes starting at 19.99 CAD. I bought one for storing some other stuff but I do like the fact that the foam is in little squares so you can just remove the foam that you need to and keep the rest for protection. |
