Anyone ever seen a birdcage larger than 1k chips? i don't even know if it would be able to be carried easily or safely.

For anything larger, I would be multiples of the 1000 set.

Wow that would be a large and unwieldable!! 1000 is tough enough to lug around with out straining the hand after a while!

Maybe you could rig up a suitcase?? Roller kinds might make it more feasible.

Do you have some sort of masochistic urge? First of all, I've never seen anyone in a casino walk around with a bird cage (and I think they're always ten rack cages), they're always pushed around on a cart. The bird cage itself (even the imported Chinese ones that are sold in retail) is not light, and it gets a little heavier when you put ten racks of chips into it. Bear in mind that those guards in casinos are working stiffs too and they're entitled to the same OSHA protection as everyone else, back injuries and hernias are kind of rough on the workmen's comp and disability insurance premiums to the employer

yeah, I saw that auction with the massive 'cage... that's what got me wondering. I've never seen one for sale though.

Someone with 1000 chips and a cage should weigh the thing and report back to us... I'm curious.
