Not sure if your looking for a wooden case.... But greatlandsports has a great aluminum case called the "elite". You can also search for it on eBay, I have the 550 case for my JB's. It's a much better case compared to all the other run of the mill aluminum cases that are out there.
I found the case you're talking about. I like the fact that this seller has Canadian shipping info right there on the page.
But I'm curious.... I currently have a small wooden case for my Sopranos chips, but I'm getting more ASM Horseheads than will fit in it. You note that you have this case.... how does that felt stuff inside hold up to the wear of putting chips in and taking them out? And is it really as sturdy as they claim?
Thanks,
Allan
I wouldn't say that the case itself is much more sturdy then all the other aluminum cases that are out there. However, size wise it is better designed case. The case is silghtly taller and not as long, making it much more comfortable to carry around. The handle is also alot less harsh on the hands. In terms of the felt inside, nothing different then the other alum cases, except that there is more padding inside. The case has held up for me so far, has been rather sturdy and has protected my JB Paulsons just fine, no complaints as I plan on purchasing the 700 elite for my Pharoahs.
...Ebay Shipping:
"That's how they get ya" as it is said. For instance take a look at the 1000 chip acrylic carriers on ebay, I have seen them sell for .99 (then the rub) plus 45.99 shipping. Outrageous.
always check the shipping on any item before biding.
I've been using Ebay (mostly buying) for many moons now (about 6 years) and I could care less about how high shipping costs are...if the total price (item cost plus shipping) is less than what I can get it for elsewhere, then I'm interested. Shipping on Ebay is high because Ebay doesn't get a portion (or "rake" so to peak) of the shipping cost, so many sellers increase their profits by having high shipping. Fine by me as long as I'm getting the product I want for a good price...classic win-win situation.

Only thing to look out for with the jacked up shipping price is that IF by chance you happened to get ripped off (w/ crappy merchandise), eBay's Buyer protection policy will only cover the Price of the item not total cost.... Just keep that in mind.

Agreed...definitley read the sellers feedback. I generally stay away from new sellers and sellers with a positive feedback below 97%.

I do exactly the same thing. Don't mind paying $40 shipping for a 99cent item as long as its still less than I can get elsewhere. As long as they state up front what the shipping costs are, and they have good feedback (I always read thru the negatives first), I've got no problem with it. Ebay will soon enough catch up with this scam and figure out some way to bill the sellers for the shipping and 'handling' costs.
