My new chip cases

I bought it from the german gambler's store, also considered as the local poker pharmacy since their prices are really high.

This case was discounted 50% from about $50 to $25 because of some minor production errors.

It's actually quite nice and looks pretty classy, but two things bother me though.

First, the lid isn't padded, so the chips are knocking on the lid at a vey noticable sound.
Secondly, the chips are touching each other because there's simply not enough space between them. I really perfect in my opinion.

It looks good, but from the practical side you're better off with the cheaper alu cases.

next in line is a 500 chip "fake crock leather case". Same deal as with the other one. But I can't find even one imperfection.
The lid folds almost 180° . I like that pretty much.

Re: My new wodden 300 Chip case

ah the chips knocking around on the lid would drive me mad, you could buy a thin piece of foam and line the case with it???

That's what I'm going to do. Maybe some black felt should be thick enough.

thanks buddy. Maybe it's enough to just lay it onto the chips instead of gluing ot to the lid.

Re: My new chip cases

You could also take some felt and wrap it around strips of cardboard to make dividers inside the box.

Re: My new chip cases

Those Ambassadors in that color case look uncannily familiar!

I had to make sure the case i bought was padded on both sides before i bought it though. Also had to make sure the 43mm $1000s fit.
