I need some more chip trays to hold ASM thickness chips. I've been buying the "Kardwell" brand plastic trays from PC.com.
However, when I recently ordered the trays from them, I received a different brand ("no brand") trays. The problem is that the new trays are slightly (3-4mm) shorter than the other trays, because there is fractionally less space between the rows of chips. As a result of this, they won't stack on top of the Kardwell trays.
The racks seem to be available at Kardwell.com, but at $4.75 each (ouch).
Is there a place to buy these racks cheaper (they were $2.75 at PC.com) or an alternative rack I should use?
I already have a bunch of the Kardwell racks for ASM chips and Chipco racks for Paulson and Chipco chips. If you don't know, ASM chips are slightly thicker than Paulsons, and often won't fit 20 to a row in Paulson/Chipco racks. Paulson and Chipco chips sometimes fit 21 to a row in other racks. I'd like to stick with just two types - that's already one more than ideal.
