600-chip Mahogany Case - Source Found!

I bought a 600-chip "mahogany" poker chip case from Sidepot years ago, but I recently damaged it while trying to modify it by adding dividers to the card storage area. The "Gorilla Glue" that I used foamed up and made a real mess of my case. So I set out to find a replacement.

I've seen some very similar "mahogany" chip cases around in 500 and 750 chip capacity lately - but couldn't find anyone (even on fleabay) that sold the 600-chip (best one, IMO) variant.....until today. If you are looking for a 600-chip Mahogany case, I found them at Kardwell International. Be warned, you'll pay for it. They're $99 (same price most places sell the 750-chip version for).

Here's the link:
Chip Case: Mahogany, with Removable Trays, 600 Chip Capacity (12 Rows/50 Chips Each): Kardwell - Playing Cards,Casino Supplies,Bar & Nightclub Supplies,Promotional Products

Just a GREAT case. Incidentally, $99 is what I paid for the one I bought from Sidepot a few years ago - but Sidepot no longer lists it for sale.

Re: 600-chip Mahogany Case - Source Found!

Dont kill your self, but I have 2. The 1st one was damaged and the seller told me to keep it. (scratches on the inside and outside of the top)
I'd have given it to you for free.

I intended to refinish it but only started to strip the top 3 years ago, kinda screwed it up, and never finished.

On another note. The glue is very weak in these. I pulled the bottom chip planks out of the bottom of the damaged one, then the card planks out of the good one. I put the chip planks into the good one (they fit perfectly) and now it holds 800 chips .

The spare 400 pc tray comes in handly too.

Lol. Thanks anyway. Hey, you've got the Modern Clays that I bought with my original case.

Thanks for the great idea, by the way. I was going to "press fit" balsa wood dowels in the new case for chip dividers, but now I may as well pull the planks out of the damaged case. It'll hold less chips that way (824 instead of 840), but it'll look way better.
