Re: Leather Case - Any Good?

I have a 300 case. Not a bad case, but no where near worth the price. IMO.

Do you have to have one that holds cards? If not, I have one like this and really like it.

$25. Poker Chips and Customized Poker Sets - Genuine Black Leather Poker Chip Case with Alligator Textures - Holds 500 chips

Can you post a review when you get it?

Thanks

Sure...while you're waiting, here's what luckychick had to say:

I own this case and I love it. It is much nicer than all the aluminum cases I have seen, very sturdy and well made. The latches and hinges all work well.
My ASMs fit 53 per row, or 50 + 4 lammers (which is what I do - it is actually convenient, as I divide the chips up with the lammers). My only complaint is that the lid does not flip up all the way - the farthest it opens is as seen in the pic. It stays open most of the time, but occasionally falls shut which is a little annoying. I would buy it again at $32. In fact, I think I paid a little more, because I was looking for a nicer case, but didn't want to pay $200 for a really nice wooden one.

Re: Leather Case - Any Good?

This case is not leather and I don't like it much. It's also poorly made - there's a lot of glue around the edges, and the hinge on the 500 piece case that prevents the top from opening further than 90 degrees sucks.

One good thing is that the dividers that are used to separate the dice and cards come out, and I can fit a box of Kem's in it.

If you're looking for a high-end case, I wouldn't recommend it.
