My New Case From Lowe's....

Hey all;
I, like many of you with the sickness, didn't have a consolidated case to put my stuff in as my collection entered the thousands and had varied poker related stuff in it as well.
I also didn't have a secure place to put money for tournaments and cash games while they were going on. In an attempt to cheaply come up with something that held everything, and provided security I decided to go with a tool chest bottom cabinet. I've gotta say, for the price it's working out nicely. Check it out and let me know what you think....as you can see
I bought one big enough so I had room to add more chips in the future - LOL!!!
Future plans(in addition to adding more chips of course) include replacing the top with a metal shelf that has a locking chip rack built into it. Also, a money drop slot in the top so I can just push the cash into the top drawer without having to have the box unlocked during cash games.
BPT
Case - Got it at Lowe's for $99.00 plus tax.

Top Drawer - Buttons, Card Protectors, Card setups

2nd Drawer - My Custom ASM Tourney Chips

3rd Drawer - My Custom Chipco's

4th Drawer - My Custom ASM Cash Set

5th Drawer - My Custom Coasters and Starting Stack Tubes

Re: My New Case From Lowe's....

Great Idea BPT!! Compact, neat and you know where everything is. Nice and secure. I bought a tool chest similar to this, with wheels and a pull handle to put all of my paints and art supplies in when I want to haul them around with me. Never would have thought to use one for poker chips and poker equipment. I like your future plans also!

Re: My New Case From Lowe's....

It seems like a very good idea.
It must be nice to have all your chips in one place.

Re: My New Case From Lowe's....

Nice case and a great idea!! I have a similar tool cabinet in my garage. I doubt my wife would let me bring it into the house, though!
