US made chip carriers *ATTENTION*

Some of you guys have seen this on Ebay and I'm wondering if anyone actually ones one of these? If so, what do you think?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

Thanks

These guys really suck. I just opened a dispute resolution with them about the product.

Re: US made chip carriers

I'm not sure what they're like, however FYI Palm Imports has a thread here on CT for something similar (if not the same):

Re: US made chip carriers

Those are the weaker ones made in China. I'm sure the 600 chip carriers are fine but I wouldn't trust the 1000 chip ones because of the weight. I know, I had one.

Thanks for link

Re: US made chip carriers

I ordered one of these. I have yet to receive it. Its been over a month. I was told it's on backorder. If I do get the thing, I will let you know how it is. They have the worst customer service. They didn't even bother to tell me it was on backorder. After calling them 3 times I eventually found this out. If you get a chance read this thread before you consider dealing with them.

Re: US made chip carriers

Thanks, I will read it. Just called them today and got through on the first try. The guy did say they are out of stock on the 1000 chip carriers but they have the 800 count in stock. I told him you shouldn't have auctions for items out of stock. He said it isn't worth dealing with changing the auction for that. Well, it isn't hard to edit the auction and state they are on back order with an estimated time of delivery. That would sufice not to piss people off.

He went on to tell me the construction of the carrier and it sounds like they are built (Ford) tough. They sell them to casino's as their auction states.

I will probably order one unless someone else has them. I'm not buying the cheap China 1000 chip carrier (too much stress). I think the 600 count China ones would be fine.

Hello:

I bougth one of these like 7 moths ago. I like it, your chips look great in it and I have not experienced any trouble with it.

A little heavy to carry. For me this cage looks real nice when you transport your chips from one place to another .

Re: US made chip carriers

OK, so what about the quality? What is the material of the carrier made of? Just want to compare to what the guy told me.

Thanks

The materials look fine, nice acrylic, when you hold it (with chips) it feels hard and secure (Does not feel like it is going to fall apart). Over all, looks good, feels good and it gives you a great view from your chips. .

Re: US made chip carriers

So what about where the middle section that connects to the bottom plate? Does it look sturdy?

Thanks

That section is conected to the base by a screw. I know it sounds not that sturdy but it feels very when you carry it. In this 7 or so months I haven´t seen any trouble with it. And I have 1000 13 grm. chips in there. (13 kg) .
