Cases?

Im looking for a nice case for 500 chips. I'm not into the aluminum or mahagany cases. Any suggestions?

Which site has the best selection?

Thanks.

Re: Cases?

Is this for home use only or do you travel with your chips? Also, what sort of budget are we looking at? You can get really nice wooden cases for close to $300 or okay ones for less than $100.

$50 is all I can spend.

And I'm not into the bird cage carriers...

Re: Cases?

There is a solid oak case for 500 chips that might fit the bill. Very sturdy and pretty nice looking.

This is a pretty nice (inexpensive) non-travel case:

Those are good, make sure you get the one with the extra space false bottom for cards etc.

And when the handle ripps off redrill the holes for the brass screws one size larger than they say on the replacement box (in the replacement hinge set you get at the HD).
Oak is hard, and the brass screws fracture and pop their heads off when forced in at the factory. Drilling one size larger will make sure the new screws stay in and don't break screwing them in.
