Anyone have this 500 ct carousel?

I'm looking to get something different for my forthcoming Paulson hot stamps.

Anyone pick this up from Gamelandsports?

I have a few carousels and love them, I do not have a 500 though.
I think a carousel will look great with the HS Paulson chips.

Don't forget to post pics if you buy it.

That's an interesting design with the inner columns.

The card slots look kind of weird, but it may just be a distorted image.

If anyone does have this, how does it fit cards? w/ boxes? plastic cases?

$29.95 seems like a good price for something wooden that holds 500 chips. My only concern with this one would be the size -- must be pretty large in diameter to hold all of those chips. I have two 300-ct carousels and one 200-ct one, and like them a lot. I'm currently trying to fill them up with Paulson Cherries...

I found a guy on ebay that'll make the same design out of different woods for about $100 shipped. http://stores.ebay.com/chipawaycarousel17

There are some people here (can't remember who) that have done really nice woodwork too. Might be worth a post asking if anyone's interested. Depending on the price, I'd probably want one too, as would others, so that might help make it worth their time.

There's a cabinet shop 5 feet from my office door. I could easily make one...just need to get a 41mm forstner bit. (I think that would be a good size, maybe 42mm)

I picked up 2 last year on sale.
They are well made (but maybe a little wobbly when weight is off balance)

There was one on here a while back that was about the size of the one in your photo, only it had two parts to it, a 200 carousel that fit into the middle and could be removed...I'll look for it...

That was the 600pc (200 center and 400 outer ring).
You can kinda see both it in my master closet included in the shot of my new cherry box (500 upper shelf/600 lower shelf): LINK

I like carousels because in a closet case like mine you can just rotate them and take what you need. Makes good use of the shelf space and leaves all chips on display at the same time (unlike a 2 level box).
