Flexible plastic chip boxes

I needed 25x4 boxes for my new faux. I was prepared to just order the acrylic ones from DCG but decided to look around to see if I could find the flexible plastic ones. I'd seen these before and they are just about indestructable. I found them in one spot: http://www.pokersupply.com/chipbox.html it's a yahoo store so SOMEONE is supplying this small-timer with them. A little pricey but I'm happy with them.

25 FC perfectly fit.

You can twist them as hard as you like and it doesn't seem to stress the plastic. They hardly twist when full of chips.

They are also not loud when dropped on the floor. I was pleasantly surprised when that happened... I dropped an empty one and winced in expectation of that acrilyc rack "clatter". This just kinda went, "clunk".

BTW, that guy's dealer buttons (5 for $2.49) are the good, engraved kind. The yellow cut cards are completely opaque.

Re: Flexible plastic chip boxes

Bump so hopefully a ct.net supplier sees it. These things are cool and I'm about to order more of them.

These actually look pretty nice. Is there any kind of logo or anything on the top of the box?

I ordered the $1 25x4 boxes w/lids from DCG, and am not pleased with them (not DCGs fault, I should have done more research.) They have a diamond on the top, some are puffed out and some are sucked in, making them nearly impossible to stack.

Any way you could post some pics of your FCs in these boxes? Thanks.

Re: Flexible plastic chip boxes

Those look cool. I read that thread but neglected to notice the boxes.

These boxes are completely plain, save for the four little feet on the bottom (nice touch)

Imageshack is borked so I can't do my normal resized inline images... you get thumbnails!:

edit: heh, that's some pretty tragic carpet in the background huh? Cobblers' shoes, I guess

Re: Flexible plastic chip boxes

I must resist...but those boxes look better than the "regular" 4x25 boxes and the flexibility/softness makes it hard to pass on. But I don't need more storage, but I can replace my other chip boxes...sheesh!!

Re: Flexible plastic chip boxes

Thanks for the pics smoore. I may need to order some of those and just pitch the ones I have, or keep them strictly for shipping things in.
