18in x 15in x 9in
I was thinking about it... what would be better than a tool case? A pilot's flight case -slash- lawyers file case! BING! OK, the ones from sporty's and pilot's warehouse are $150+, I wonder if China has made one for us. That cheapie above was the third hit on ebay for "pilot flight case" today. $33 shipped, he seems to have quite a few as there are auctions all week.
When I get it I'll give impressions, of course. I'll probably load it up with paper and see how sturdy it is. I've seen lawyers with nice ones that were literally STUFFED with files. While I *might* have been able to carry it myself, they use two people to get it off the table and then roll them away. Frail hands, you know Auction Links thread to where I got it.

Chips: 1,861 | | | Re: I sneer in the general direction of your Task Force case... heh, I'm already thinking about how I'm going to modify it.
If it's big enough I'm going to put some backpack straps on it. If not, a shoulder strap.
The poker genie could possibly be velcro'd in the lid for easy viewing. This would get everyone looking at the chipset so I wouldn't have to lock it, everyone polices everyone about stealing chips to sneak in. Cash is in TD's pocket.
Some ball-bearing casters would be cool but I wouldn't pay retail for 'em.

600 chips seems OK, but getting up to 800-1,000 I’m not sure I want to carry it too far by the handle.
That on looks pretty sturdy. |

It's heavy, but the handle's been fine. I never attempted the cheap shoulder strap that comes with it - that wouldn't have stood a chance. |

I've had upto 1200 chips in it before without any issues other than the fact that they are heavy. The Lowes version of the case is definitely better than the Home Depot version though. |

Smoore are you getting chip boxes or are you sticking with racks?
If you go the racks route you better see if you can get 2 side by side or your tower-O-chips may crumble inside that case of yours!! |
