Alright...well to start off I found this pic... (THIS GOES WAY BACK!!)



Thats 1000 slugged OFFICIAL WEIGHT chips! And my monstrously monstrous aluminum plaques, and my solid oak dice box, and 1 setup of copags!!

Now I also found this one....

with 1700 chips in it.

And this one....


But that is the HOME DEPOT version, which is a Guardforce if I am not mistaken, but hey they are almost identical right!?!?

That's my picture though there are only 1100 chips shown it. You can fit 1800 in there but its a heavy mother with 11.5g chips and no I don't fear falling beer cans for saying that. The Lowes cases are slightly higher quality (odd, yes) and also include (or did) the punchout-able foam material. You can easily get 1000 chips in these with plenty of room for cards and such. If I get a chance later, and remember, I post a picture of my current setup which shows like 1100 chips and cards in a different config than this old picture.

How much can you get Norinco AKs for? I'd be down for a couple peasant guns

I got it. It's cheapie as I expected but a good value for the incredibly low price.

There is space for 3000 chips, leaving about 2inches on top of the chip boxes for incidentals. HOLY CHIPS!

The 4x25 boxes fit perfectly inside the little "folders" at each side. 10 across the bottom, three high when put in on their sides. Basically, there is enough room for 1/2in padding all the way around with two setups wedged in the end lengthwise. The setups are taller than the chips and four setups would fit at the end like this.

3000 chips would equal about 66lb. I need to find 70lb of something small enough to fit inside the case to test it. 14 bags of sugar won't fit and I don't think our stockpiles are that large anyway I think I have some weights around here somewhere. I don't give it much chance to securely carry 70lb. That's about how much my toolbox weighs and you can see the steel around the handle deflect when you pick it up.

I seem to remember from somewhere, that nickels weigh exactly 5 grams. Think you could fit about 6,300 nickels in there?
