With all the chips which have invaded every storage space in our house, I've turned to the Ikea catalogue and all of their storage solutions.
What I found was the Rationell spice rack. Originally designed as an insert for Ikea kitchen drawers, it seems to fit as a removable insert that holds poker chips.
Specs: Rationale Spice Rack
Cost: $7 CAN
Material: ABS Plastic (oh yeah.. you can cut this baby down to size)
Dimensions: Width: 10 cm
Depth: 40 cm
Height: 2 cm
Chips that fit: TRKing, Faux, Paulson, Ceramics, BlueChip (but not the Winners Club chips

)
How many chips: 120 fauxs per side for a total of 240 chips

Advantages: Can cut it, its cheap, its curved, and likely super glue could put a couple back to back.
Disadvantages: it has no end pieces so you need to put it IN something (perfect for a wood box/rack/glass display case) or glue on a couple of chip spacers on the ends (haven't tried so not sure this would work).
****Canadians can order this item online not sure about other locations. ****
General impressions: Hey I love the idea of having a place to organize the faux clays, and if I put these into a glass or plexiglass container, I can actually display the rows with faces showing through. I'm a girl.. I like pretty things to be visible

. The 2007 catalogue says they also make these in wood for $10 CAN.. but I couldn't find them in my Ikea

, so I'm not sure if they are the same build or not.
Hope you find this useful -grrl-
