Indead, shipping charges are alot for me. For example 1000 custom ceramics and a birdcage with racks will cost $120 CAD for Standard 14 business days from Calgery to me! And that is dosestic, add in duties and customs and whatever other money grabbing fees they come up with at the border. I have not checked what this birdcage would cost me, but I can get one from a Canadian supplier for $80 racks and shipping included which is not bad.

So yes to answer your question shipping from the states to the high arcric is EXPENSIVE! Feel free to play with numbers to make your own shipping cost seem cheap... my postal code is X0A 0V0
