Chips: 12,758 | | | Wooden Chip Case from Poker Chips OnLine I know people have mentioned these here before, but does anyone actually own one? Has anyone ever seen or handled one?
These are the ones I am referring to: http://www.pokerchips.com/Merchant2/...egory_Code=OAK
I was just wondering if they were worth the money. I currently have two American Oak Poker Chests, so I don't really need one, but I keep looking at them because they are beautiful.
Any information or impressions would be welcomed.

Chips: 9,136 | | | Re: Wooden Chip Case from Poker Chips OnLine I have one for my Dunes chips. It is very nice and much better built than any other chip case I have seen.
The next best is the 1200 chip American Oak case on eBay, but I have two that have broken through a design flaw.

Chips: 446 | | | Re: Wooden Chip Case from Poker Chips OnLine I know there's a chiptalk member that got some custom ASMs not too long ago and got one of these cases with it, and had some nice pics of it in their gallery. Unfortunately I can't remember who it was. It looked even better than it does on the pc.com site, and I ended up ordering one of the 1000 chip cherry cases along with my custom ASMs. Sadly it will be several months until I get to do that. |

L | What was the design flaw? Just wondering, so I can try to prevent the same from happening to mine.

I have a 1000 chip walnut case from them. Other members have the same case. I've posted pictures here somewhere.....
It's the finest case I have or have seen.
I think the design flaw mentioned for the American Oak case, IIRC, is that if you're not careful, the front door can fall down and consequently damage the hinges/pins. I'm always careful when I open mine so that this won't happen.

Chips: 7,798 | | | Re: Wooden Chip Case from Poker Chips OnLine I also have the 1000 walnut case with a burl top. I'm very happy with it, though the finish came a bit rough, and I put a couple layers of lacquer on it myself (both outside and inside).
I have four pictures in my Greek ASM thread |

Chips: 29,466 | | | Re: Wooden Chip Case from Poker Chips OnLine I found the pictures: http://chiptalk.net/forum/poker-gear...ghlight=walnut
That case currently houses my Pharaohs.
Let me know if I can provide any more info / pictures.

Check out Big Slicks custom ASM order tread - he has a 1000 chip case from them - it's very very nice. He was at my place last night with it - very sturdy.
Would be in the custom chip gallery - Big slicks card room or something.
