Chips: 1,722 | | | Re: 600-ct Acrylic Bird Cages I don't think income5's 600ct cases are cut down from 1000ct cases. The boxes they shipped in were made to fit them exact and I believe they had '600 ct' printed on the box, but not sure. That would be a lot of trouble just to repackage them.
You do need to be careful about the low price and high shipping from ebayers. If you have to return the item, they can just refund the cost and not the shipping. Not sure if ebay will back you up there.
Anyway, I'm glad my four 600ct case from income5 worked out. They shipped in perfect condition and being from CA, only had to pay tax on 99¢. |

however, hearing that forum users bought some with the box that is made speficically for the case and it's printed 'made in china', 600 count, etc. leads me to believe that the one he bought was not cut down from a prior cracked case.
This leads me to believe that there are the 1000's, built and sold as. The 400's, 600's and 800's (all of which I've seen on ebay) which were once upon a time a 1000 case. And, last but not least, a 600 case, made and sold as a 600 piece case.
Fun to untangle these things....
Now if we can jsut get ebay sellers to ship for actual shipping costs. |

Chips: 2,872 | | | Re: 600-ct Acrylic Bird Cages I just got Nexgen RPT's as an upgrade from my Royal Suited. I was deciding between 1000 and 1200 chips and I ended up with 1050, 1000 in a birdcage and another 50 in a spare chip rack with lid. I got a good deal, so I'm not unhappy, but if I had it to do over, I'd definitely consider 2 600-ct birdcages over the 1000-ct. The 1000-ct is so heavy and the handle wobbles a little bit when I carry it by the handle alone. I worry about snapping it off. I usually put my other hand underneath the base when I move it. Fortunately, I don't have to travel with it, so I'm not moving it a bunch, but the two 600-ct cases would have given me more flexibility, held all my chips now, and left room to grow the set a little. |

Only problem for me is I really don't need 1200 JBs, but I now have this urge to fill up the 2nd case to make it look better, more complete! I have 1200 chipcos spread between my other two carriers and it looks great. |
