I bought this 500 ct chip case yesterday at The Bombay Company in Arlington for $47 on sale from $179 and thought I should let you guys know about it since many are looking for nice cases. It is available online for the same price, link -

For those of you who have awesome chips and want a way to display them, this chip case is perfect.
LOOKS - It has a mahogany veneer but you can't tell the whole thing isn't made out of mahogany. When it's closed you can see all 500 chips through the lid. It has brass accents and comes with a brass plate that you can get engraved and put on the lid. It is also tilted a small amount to show the chips better. It is lined with green felt that looks and feels nice. All in all, looks are the best thing going for this and it looks very classy and is a great match for the best chips out there.
DURABILITY - This case is not a case I would really want to be travelling with, it could easily be scratched and is definitely a display case meant to stay in the house. That said, it's not really durable as far as cases go.
CONSTRUCTION - The movement on the lid is very smooth and even. The hinges are lined up perfectly. The felt chip tray is one piece and doesn't move. I couldn't really find any faults in the construction.
VALUE - At $47 it's an incredible value. I've spent a lot of time looking and have never seen a deal better than this. The closest thing was the mahogany case that went for $50 but that didn't have a window in the lid to display chips like this does.
Overall, if you're looking for a display case you can't go wrong with this. If you're looking for a travel case then keep looking.
