Been meaning to post this for awhile. Initially I was looking at the Task Force case, but after looking at it I was dissappointed by somewhat weak construction. I then was looking at the Pelican cases and really liked them but was somewhat turned off by the price. I stopped by my local sporting goods store and happened to look at a handgun case. It had the pick-n-pluck foam in it and it got me thinking. On my next trip to Cabelas I checked out several of the handgun cases on hand and found many that would make excellent chip cases. Many of them had the pick-n-pluck foam in them which is a plus. Also they are heavily built and many of them have built in locks or places where padalocks can be added for security. I have not decided which case I am going to go with, but I do like the Doskocil XL case. It has 2 layers of foam, 2 strong latches on the front and 1 on each side and is in the $65 range. This case could handle a TON of chips which would be good because I am looking for a case to hold 1500 Pharaohs, all of my buttons, cards, etc. Just wanted to pass this on to my fellow Chiptalk members. Hope this helps someone.
I actually just ordered a GuardForce Multiple Pistol Case yesterday! I was planning on posting a review as soon as it arrives. Decently prices at <$50 with shipping.
If you had fewer chips, you could also try a laptop case.
