Chips: 501 | | | Fuller tool case? In this week's flyer for Wal-Mart Canada, there's a case by Fuller that looks a lot like the Task Force case that has been popular on this forum. I can scan the page later... actually, I just remembered that they have their flyer online now, here is what it looks like:
Doesn't seem to have any foam inserts/top, but the case looks similar. If I thought about it at work last night, I would have taken a closer look. They're selling for $19.97 CAD, if there are any left.
Any idea of the quality? Fuller is a pretty respectable brand.

Mine holds seven 4x25 chips cases on their long edges each side EXACTLY, leaving a gap in the middle for cards, etc.
It works quite well, but with 1400 chips in it, it starts to bend a bit when you pick it up. Less chips = less weight (duh) and it would work perfectly for 600 or so.
No foam, and I don't really use the dividers since the chips boxes that i have fit so perfectly.
I paid about £18, so, say, $30. |

If it wasn't windy and a bit rainy, I'd probably go up now to pick one up. I could always bring it back if it isn't any good. Or maybe I will... I have to return something anyway, and I won't get much of a chance later this week.
Where is everybody buying their 4x25 chip boxes with covers?

Wow, that's a really good fit! That case seems great, if it's the same one, or close to it.

Chips: 684 | | | Re: Fuller tool case? Based on the image in the WalMart ad, it doesn't appear to be the same as the Task force case -- at least not the Task Force case I have. The edges of my case are extruded aluminum with a quarter-round profile. The corner pieces are also rounded over and fit flush with each of the three extruded edges. The interior is 12" by 17", with an approximate 1/4" bevel in each corner, and looks nearly identical to the WalMart case shown. |

Chips: 4,436 | | | Re: Fuller tool case? I also have the Task Force. Based only on the picture you posted, it looks VERY close to the same. Same divider system and even the same number of dividers. Same tool holder in the cover and same plastic tabs in the cover for holding in the eggcrate foam (even though the foam isn't included in this package). |

The one in Strange's photo is at least metal where it attaches to the case. And the Fuller case has plastic (?) corners. Yes, folks, no better way to protect and strengthen metal than with plastic. |

It actually looks just like the one that Strange has (at least on the corners, can't remember about the handle offhand, but that's probably the same as well). I'm probably going to drop in on the way home from class in a couple of hours and buy one. I guess if it isn't good enough for poker chips, I could actually use it as a tool case
Just have to find some chip boxes... ($5 at HPC? Is that the best price?)
