I decided to take it back to my local lowes and when I was there checked around just to make sure I didnt get one without an eggcrate. I found one left but it was a different package and came with everything everyone has been talking about. It also seems to be made much better

Just thought I would let everyone know
Actually, as far as I can tell Task Force is a brand and there were a lot of tool boxes with that brand. But only one that looked like this as far as I could tell.

Re: Task Force case

With all the talk about the Taskforce case, I bought one on an impulse tonight. Just happened to be stuck in traffic at 12 & Tel and staring at a Lowes store.

I had two different ones but they both looked nearly identical on the outside and inside. It was just slight differences. They even had the same item number... I guess maybe older model or something?

Here is a picture of my set-up. I need to try and find racks with lids for my over sized chips.

The handle didnt have the metal line on it, the metal plates that help hold the egg crate in were shaped differently, the dividers were unfinished food inside as opposed to the grey, and the foam inserts were different.

How many did they have? I checked both the ones at the Lowe's by my work and neither had the eggcrate for the top.

Its probably because its a older or newer model, did the package look like the one pictured earlier in this thread? The first one I got was slightly different and didnt come with the eggcrate. The box just slide out of the side of the packaging and the other one (the good one) comes in closed packaging.

4 or 5 others

It had foam for as shown above but not what I would call eggcrate foam. Just sheet as big as the interior where you could punch out specific sections.

$24.97 or so
